The Cramps were an influential punk rock band formed in 1976, known for their wild stage presence and horror-themed aesthetic that helped define the psychobilly genre. Fronted by the charismatic Lux Interior and guitarist Poison Ivy, they became cult icons with their raw energy and theatrical performances throughout the 1980s and beyond.
