This vintage G.I. Joe vehicle was first released in U.S. toy stores in 1986, and exclusively packaged with the Cobra Emperor, Serpentor. The Air Chariot was also sold in 1987 but was discontinued domestically in 1988, after which it was available with Serpentor as a mail-order offer from Hasbro Direct.
